Ken White {left} David Currie {right} partners, this was one of the first tests both men had with the car in 1984- the duo also owned a sister car : Brabham BT 18 chassis number AM 144 {known as the blue car} this was previously owned by Bruce Harre and driven by Graham Laurence, the intention was to race both cars, however after an incident at Whenuapai air base with Ken White at the wheel both men parted ways and Brabham Am168 was sold to Charlie Conway. The blue car now solely owned by David Currie was eventually sold overseas. |
